Calling Quirky Pickle Creators -- Is that YOU?

With dreams of only using ORIGINAL Quirky Pickle designs (not the same stickers you see over and over everywhere), we want our own Quirky Pickle Pals (that's YOU!) to be a part of creating those images! We celebrate originality, creativity, and freedom of expression from people of all ages, and encourage you to let your ideas flow! Plus, you get to be a part of doing good through your designs - Quirky Pickle donates 10% of all net profits to literacy and communication initiatives across America!

Want to get started? Go ahead and call yourself a Quirky Pickle Creator and begin designing!

Here are some guidelines to help out:

  • Create ANYTHING your mind dreams up to be a great sticker idea!It does not have to be some fantastical, detailed drawing using all of the fancy new methods. It does have to be appealing enough to be accepted for use in the Quirky Pickle clubs, but we're not looking for professional design work. We want to celebrate art by kids, teens, and adults of all talent ranges and passion levels. You can even do a cool modern art or pop art design, or use text/phrases that might be a big hit. As long as it is not offensive or hateful, we're going to love what you make because you're doing it for Quirky Pickle, to show off your talents, to support literacy awareness, or for your own other reasons!

  • If you have an idea for a theme or set of characters you want to create, do a set of cohesive images (6-8 works well) for a full-size sticker sheet design(you send the images, we'll handle the sheet design so don't worry about that). Have you seen the Quirky Pickle Potato Pals characters yet? So cute!

  • How about bilingual stickers? Do you happen to know another language and want to help spread that knowledge to children and adults to learn in a fun way?

  • Love the idea of designing stationery for people to use to write letters with actual pens to put in the real mailbox? Try that out! Create some imagery and use any software of your choice to do the layout (with or without lines), and submit the stationery in PDF format.

  • New to this but want to be an artist? You already are! If you want a tip, ProCreate is a beautiful app which we use for most of our designs. It does cost $12.99 but there is never another charge beyond that purchase. There are also TONS of free apps for doing digital artwork, so use whatever works best for you!

  • Choose to design for a specific age group, or to do something any age would love (our age groups are on the home page at https://www.quirkypicklestudio.com).

TO SUBMIT DESIGNS:

  • Digital images must be minimum 1200 dpi in PNG, JPG, EPS, PSD, or PDF format.
