Quirky Pickle's mission is to enhance literacy and communication skills through creative connection and community support. With literacy rates at historic lows across all age groups, we believe in fostering learning through joy rather than rigor.
Our flagship program, Quirky Pickle Sticker Pals, is the world's first penpal sticker club, connecting kids and teens across communities while fostering cultural awareness and simple pleasures through colorful stickers, personalized stationery, and throwback fun! We bring back the magic of penpals to build literacy and communication skills while encouraging geographic discovery and meaningful friendships.
What began as a simple idea for connection has blossomed into a diverse initiative supporting teachers and community educators. Through our various programs and products, we generate resources for underfunded literacy and communication skill-building projects, while creating engaging, screen-free ways for people of all ages to develop essential skills. Our special initiatives and collaborations promote better handwriting, encourage simple hobbies, and prove that learning can be both fun and meaningful.
Quirky Pickle donates 10% of net profits and 100% of direct donations from special projects to literacy and communication skill-building initiatives for children and adults of all ages across the United States.
We are always looking for new projects and collaborations that support a shared desire to improve upon accessibility of important educational skills, especially (but not limited to) the communities and people that need it most.
